KNOW – LovEritrea’s goal is to be an encouragement to Eritrean believers by creating greater and renewed awareness for the country of Eritrea – its blessings and its challenges. Organizations like Open Doors have worked hard to create awareness about the circumstances in Eritrea among Global Christians. We feel that a lot more can be done to create awareness among Christians on the African continent for their brethren in Eritrea. We will do that through the network offered by the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA). Additionally, we want the Church in Eritrea to be reminded once more that they are not alone. Word of our campaign and our prayers for them will be spread through this website, but also through our network of believers inside the country.

PRAY – Awareness is not simply for the sake of gaining knowledge, but must lead to prayer. ENGAGE - In addition to this, we also want to encourage Christians around the globe towards positive engagement on behalf of Christians in Eritrea. With engagement, we do not mean political protest. Christians in Eritrea feel strongly that neither the cause of their challenges, nor the answer is political. What we do mean is interaction between Eritrean Christians and the worldwide body of Christ and prayer for Christians in Eritrea and elsewhere who are seeking opportunity to positively engage with their own government about the issue of religious freedom.
